Research has consistently shown the best predictor of positive therapeutic outcomes is the connection between therapist and client. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental, collaborative environment to assist you in feeling more fulfilled and purposeful. We will work together in a balance of acceptance and change to promote internal validation, while challenging you and encouraging you to dig deep and make intentional and thoughtful changes toward self-growth.

Dr. Hendrick has extensive experience working with the emerging adult population and enjoys working with clients navigating this new and sometimes difficult life transition. She also enjoys working with clients navigating concerns related to their LGBTQIA+ identity, those recovering from religious trauma/religious deconstruction and those aiming to find new community and belonging.

Couples Therapy

In addition to her individual work, Dr. Hendrick received training in both Gottman Methods and Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), both scientifically proven models of psychotherapy for couples. She is passionate about helping couples navigate the challenges of different communication styles, connection, attachment histories and styles, conflict resolution and repair, and trust. Dr. Hendrick particularly enjoys helping her couples identify the connection between how you were raised, your family of origin, and how this impacts the way you show up in your current relationship. Dr. Hendrick’s goal for her couples is to identify the underlying root cause to negative cycles and communication patterns to create lasting change, while also providing you with immediate symptom relief for more positive interactions and connection.
